Our History & Foundation

AGI is a proud division of the Verdi Alliance Group of Companies, a distinguished name in Canadian construction. The Group was established over 50 years ago and has since grown into one of Canada’s leading construction service providers.

1970 - Early Success: The company was originally founded as "Verdi Inc. Forming", laying the foundation for what would become the "Verdi Alliance Group of Companies". It achieved early and significant success in the residential concrete forming sector.

2004 - Group Expansion: "Verdi Inc." merged with the "Alliance Group of Companies" to form the "Verdi Alliance Group of Companies", strategically expanding capabilities across multiple disciplines and solidifying its market position.

AGI was strategically established to anchor the Verdi Group of Companies' strength and capabilities, allowing us to successfully deliver a wide range of General Contracting projects with a dedicated focus on sustainability and green building practices.
